I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration, holding a B.A. in Composition and Public Administration and an M.A. in Public Administration. I investigate how everyday urban policy instruments—such as parks and public bicycles—and the capital that supports them operate across space. By examining where and how these mechanisms function, I aim to generate evidence that informs the design of more effective and equitable climate adaptation policies, ultimately contributing to more sustainable cities. In my free time, I like taking walks with my dog Orion, practicing kendo, playing the piano, and riding bikes around the city.

I received my bachelor’s degree from Ewha Womans University, where I double majored in French Language and Literature and Public Administration. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration at Ewha Womans University. I am interested in sustainable development and the role of cities as spaces where people live their everyday lives. I often reflect on how cities should evolve to better support sustainability and citizens’ quality of life. Given that governments play a central role in shaping and managing urban environments, I am especially focusing on understanding the roles government should take in guiding this process. In my free time, I enjoy exploring various liquors, watching plays and musicals, and reading detective fictions.
